What is The GP Service?
Authorised by the MHRA and regulated by the Care Quality Commission, The GP Service provides an Online Doctor Service to help diagnose and treat common conditions using our secure online video consultation platform. If you are looking for medication for a pre-existing condition, we offer an online self-assessment service too.
The GP Service is an available service to use within many local Pharmacy’s. Alternatively, you can you can download the free mobile app on IOS.
Our Online Doctors
Besides the long waiting times at your local GP, fitting a Doctor’s appointment into your daily routine can be difficult and stressful. The GP Service allows patients to book their appointments to fit their schedule. All our qualified online Doctors are based within the UK and are registered with the General Medical Council (GMC).

How does it work?
At The GP Service we understand the importance of getting to the bottom of a medical issue, that is why we have made private medical health care easily accessible and more importantly affordable. We are committed to providing patients with a safe and discreet service that is simple to use.
If you would prefer to discuss our services with a pharmacy member, simply head to your nearest member pharmacy and enquire within. One of our dedicated pharmacy members will be on hand to take you through the process.
Getting started with The GP Service is quick and easy, simply follow these 5 steps
- Select an appointment slot
- Fill out the quick registration form
- Fill out a brief description on your symptoms/problems you are experiencing
- Choose whether you want to collect your medication from a local pharmacy or have it delivered
- Confirm & pay for your appointment
Once you have confirmed and paid for your appointment all you need to do is log in to your account 10 minutes prior to your appointment, select ‘MyAccount’ and click on the blue button ‘Join’. This will be adjacent to your scheduled appointment time.
During your assessment your online Doctor will assess your condition and if required prescribe you with the medication that you need. Depending on whether you chose to collect your medication, or have it delivered, it will be ready for collection 60 minutes after your consultation.
